On October 13, some 150 people attending Consulting magazine's inaugural Fastest Growing Firms Gala Dinner held at The Roosevelt Hotel in New York City. In all, 61 firms were recognized for their extraordinary revenue growth between 2012 and 2015. The No. 1 ranked firm—Bellevue, Wash.-based RedCloud Consulting—grew at an astounding 582 percent. RedCloud edged out this year's No. 2 firm, Durham, N.C.-based CoreCompete, which clocked in at an extraordinary 513 percent growth. Combined, all 61 winning firms grew at an average of 158 percent. To qualify, firms were required to have a baseline three-year growth rate of at least 20 percent. In addition, firms needed to have at least $500,000 in revenue by Dec. 31 2012.
