The 2015 Rising Stars of the Profession

The consulting profession is stocked with young talent. And we can prove it. And we will over this special 20-page section. In consulting, everyone knows the firm with the best talent wins. The consulting profession is stocked with young talent. And we can prove it.

And we will over this special 20-page section. In consulting, everyone knows the firm with the best talent wins. We'll amend that a bit: The firm with the best young talent wins… so long as that firm can crack the code on keeping that talent in house: no easy task, for sure. That's because this generation is different.

They're thrilled to be consultants; and they're thrilled to be part of a team doing amazing client work. But that doesn't necessarily mean they want to hang around the firm and become Partner. Some do, and that's great. But many don't. This generation blazes its own trail. Always has; always will.

But don't take our word for it. Take theirs. What do they have to say? Plenty. Check out their inspiring stories. Read their quotes. They're wise beyond their years. They are accomplished: They've launched firms; they've sold firms; they've merged their own firms with much larger firms. They've saved clients hundreds of millions of dollars; they've generated more in revenue for their own firms; they've opened new offices, they've opened new geographies. And they're humble: More times than not, they deflect praise and instead opt to credit those around them—their co-workers, their team, their mentors, their clients. Since they won't say it, we will.
