Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) announced the appointment of Bob Ruckh as a Managing Director in its Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG). Mr. Ruckh's hire demonstrates Global TAG's commitment to driving value across the deal lifecycle by deepening its strategic advisory talent and client-focused teams.
Mr. Ruckh brings four decades of global transaction expertise including startup and growth capital investments, cross-border public and private company mergers and acquisitions (M&A), initial public offerings (IPO), divestitures, carve-outs and working capital mechanisms. He has led on-the-ground teams in almost two dozen countries, including two secondments to northern and Eastern Europe. The range and complexity of his assignments cross multiple sectors, including industrial and consumer products and services, retail, distribution businesses, technology, healthcare, energy and infrastructure, as well as multinationals.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Ruckh served as a Brightstar Capital Partners Managing Director working with investment and fund professionals and outside advisers to execute buy and sell-side transactions, onboard new portfolio companies, and deliver value creation strategies. Additionally, he was a board member and observer for several portfolio companies, as well as a Chair of one of the portfolio Audit Committees.
